This is a beautiful vintage girdle by Marcel Worth, an Australian designer and manufacturer of shapewear.
Although style 1591 looks pretty and delicate, it is very strong and capable of taming even the most stubborn problem areas. If you want a flat tummy, a smoothed out bum and flawless hips, you should try this piece. If you're a retro or vintage bride, looking for special foundations to go under your wedding dress, I would definitely consider this piece.
The front panel has some light plastic boning sewn into the inside, but has two elasticated panels running down the side of the hips, allowing for slight stretch. The back has a satin panel and front is decorated with pretty floral lace.
This girdle includes 4 garters with metal clips, which are essential to keep stockings up. This garment features a side zip, with hook and eyes.
Size 18 - Will fit a waist between 30-32" and hips between 41-44"
Size 22 - Will fit a waist between 33-34" and hips between 45-47"
