Vintage 1970s longline bra
In my opinion, the longline is one of the most flattering styles of brassieres available. The length of this bra will gently compress your upper abdomen and middle back, preventing the annoying 'squish' often caused by short bras. Worn with a longline girdle, this bra can help to create a smooth silhouette, you just need to ensure that the top of the girdle and the lower bra band overlap.
This simple yet feminine bra is a light beige colour which matches many vintage pieces. The bra cups are adorned with pretty flowers, as well as having a long thin panel of sheer fabric on the top of each cup.
The bra straps are quite thick which helps greatly with regards to comfort. Thinner bra straps can leave sore, red marks on the shoulders, these straps should prevent any soreness.
The thick band at the bottom of the waist band will keep the bra in place and prevent it from riding up. It should also cinch the waist ever so slightly.
This bra is in a very good condition, with one exception - There is one pair of hook and eyes missing from the back, which could easily be replaced.
This brassiere is a 42B, which in Australian sizing translates to a 20B. The bra contains no underwire, which is traditional and supports the bust very well.
